Provides for termination of ground wire to body.

These receptacles feature an additional insulator between the main connector body and the bodys mounting surfaces, electrically isolating the ground signal of the circuit from the panel. The circuit ground signal is passed through the panel via the solder lug for termination inside the equipment. Since they are not a triaxial connector design, isolated-ground receptacles can be used with any standard plugs.

A pressurized receptacle incorporates a flat rubber gasket under compression to provide an environmental seal when unmated. Pressurized receptacles are not gas-tight.

A hermetically-sealed receptacle incorporates a glass-to-metal seal either soldered into the connector body or fused directly to the body (stainless-steel bodies only).

Hermetically-sealed connectors are waterproof and gas-tight.
